Addressable Investigations partners with DataExpert to bring off-chain attribution to Benelux, Poland, and the Nordics

Today we are announcing a strategic partnership with DataExpert, the Veenendaal-based crime-prevention specialist that has supported law enforcement and government across the region for over thirty-five years.
Through this collaboration, DataExpert will deliver Spectra, our off-chain attribution platform, to law enforcement agencies, intelligence teams, and digital forensics units across the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, and the Nordics. The partnership officially launches at Digital Experience Netherlands 2026 on 22 September in Arnhem, where both teams will run a joint session for the regional investigator community.
What does the partnership cover?
DataExpert will deliver Spectra as a complete investigative capability across the region. That includes:
- The Spectra SaaS platform
- API integration for teams running mature investigative stacks
- Specialised training programmes jointly developed by both teams
- Onboarding and implementation support
For investigators across these markets, this means Spectra is now available with regional training and regional support delivered by DataExpert.
Why does off-chain attribution matter for crypto-investigators?
Most crypto investigations stop at the wallet. The funds are traced. The wallet is identified. The entity behind it stays unknown.
This is where investigations stall. Fresh wallets, mixers, cross-chain bridges, privacy chains, smart contracts. The on-chain trail goes quiet, and the question becomes who, not where.
Spectra works above the on-chain forensics stack. It surfaces off-chain data that links a wallet to the entity that controls it. The platform produces leads and digital evidence that hold up in legal proceedings, and integrates alongside existing blockchain analytics tools without forcing teams to change workflows.
In short: Spectra picks up where on-chain attribution stops.
What changes for investigators across the region?
Three things shift for crypto-investigators in the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, and the Nordics:
- Leads when the on-chain trail goes cold. Spectra surfaces investigative starting points that on-chain tools cannot produce on their own.
- Digital evidence that survives legal scrutiny. Time-stamped, structured records that hold up in court.
- Region-level attribution. Narrows jurisdiction and routes cases to the right agency, even when actors use commercial VPN infrastructure or other masking techniques.
The audiences this supports include law enforcement, intelligence agencies, token recovery teams, and digital forensics units. The financial sector, where digital asset investigations and financial crime work increasingly overlap, is the next horizon both partners are tracking.
What Leeor Ben-Peretz, CSO at Addressable Investigations, says
"This partnership extends Addressable Investigations into one of Europe's most active digital forensics and crypto-investigation communities. Our off-chain attribution layer provides leads and digital evidence that were not available to this community so far. Together with DataExpert's training and customer reach across the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, and Nordic markets, this partnership puts a powerful additional intelligence layer in front of crypto-investigators."
- Leeor Ben-Peretz, Chief Strategy Officer, Addressable Investigations
What Joost Gijzel, Director Cryptocurrency Tracing & Investigation at DataExpert, says
"One of the primary reasons we selected Spectra is its ability to complement existing blockchain investigation methodologies with a fundamentally different source of intelligence. While most solutions focus primarily on clustering techniques and transaction heuristics, Spectra uses proprietary attribution methodologies to identify cryptocurrency addresses and establish ownership. This provides investigators with access to a unique attribution dataset that extends beyond traditional blockchain analysis. By bringing this capability to our customers, we enable investigative teams to uncover connections, strengthen attribution efforts, and pursue leads that might otherwise remain undiscovered."
- Joost Gijzel, Director Cryptocurrency Tracing & Investigation, DataExpert
